The traditional plastic bumper has been replaced by a blend of ultra-impact-resistant aramid fibers and a PTFE treatment to protect the frame from abrasion. Without a bumper, the racquet becomes more aerodynamic, promoting better air penetration, thus increasing swing speed and power.
